What's covered in Hans's clinics?
-Stretches for climbing.
-Warm-ups for climbing. ( Hans will often offer up one hour core strengthening and stretching classes)
-Improving your onsight ability, (outdoor or indoor), through:
- - Reading the moves. Reading the holds.
- - Foot work and "hand placement" drills.
- - Knowing your limits. Drills.
- - Learning your strengths through drills. Using your strengths on the route/problem.
- - Knowing the course setter. Knowing the grade.
- - Speed. Thinking on the ground and on the route.
-Drills for working on the above.
-Technique for vertical, slightly and very overhanging climbing.
-Improving your mental psyche for climbing, competing, and training.
-Actually climb some problems or routes, apply what you've learned. Hans may set routes or problems specifically for you.
-Training to prevent injury and rehab.
